BENEFITS OF WINDOW TINT

STRONG HEAT COMFORT

Carbon: Great day-to-day heat reduction with a clean, neutral look.

Ceramic: Targets infrared heat more aggressively, especially noticeable during peak sun hours.

SIGNAL SAFE CONSTRUCTION

Carbon: Non-metal, so it won’t mess with GPS, Bluetooth, or cell reception.

Ceramic: Also non-metal, with the same signal-safe advantage for modern vehicles.

COLOR-STABLE, CLEAN APPEARANCE

Carbon: Holds a consistent tone and avoids the “purple fade” you see with basic dyed films.

Ceramic: Designed for long-term color stability too, with a crisp, refined finish.

OPTIONS FOR PRIVACY + CLARITY

Carbon: Excellent for customers who want a sleek look and privacy across popular shades.

Ceramic: Great for customers who want heat control even in lighter shades while keeping a clear view

DOT & Commercial Truck Window Tint Guidelines

Vehicles subject to DOT inspections must comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (49 CFR §393.60)  and applicable state laws, including Texas. For commercial and DOT-regulated vehicles, windshield tint must allow at least 70% visible light transmission (VLT) and may not obstruct the driver’s view; reflective or mirrored films are not permitted. An upper windshield shade strip is generally allowed above the AS-1 line only. In Texas, front side windows must allow 25% VLT, rear windows may be darker if the vehicle has outside mirrors, and tint reflectivity may not exceed 25%. Even if darker tint is legal on passenger vehicles, it may fail a DOT inspection on commercial trucks.
